Weekend Update

I wish the weather would just either get cold and stay cold or stay warm.  I am so over this back and forth stuff.  My nose is stopped up one minute and running the next minute.  The changing back and forth of the weather makes for nice migraines also.  Yuck!!! 

Saturday I drove to Plano to visit my cousins who were in town for Thanksgiving.  We had a good time, which we always do. 

On another subject, did anyone get any great black Friday deals or cyber Monday deals.  I got some deals on the internet both days and I didn't have to face the crowds.

Last night my mom came over and we had turkey and all the sides again one last time.  It was so good.  This year she got a smoked turkey and it was so delish and stayed moist. 

This morning I started up with pulmonary rehab again and it's going to take a while for me to get back up to where I was before I was put in the hospital back in Sept/Oct.  A little work at a time and I will get back up there.  I couldn't walk very long on the treadmill before I was worn out.

Random Wednesday

This week I'm going really Random.  First of all, I watched my first episode of Honey Boo Boo.  I don't know what to say about that show.  You want to change the channel but you just can't do it. 

Do any of y'all watch American Horror Story?  All I can say is WOW!!!  I thought last year was bad.  This year it is super creepy.

This year I'm taking my furkids to get their picture made with Santa.  Chad will probably have to go with me because Presley Grace is very timid of new people.  I'm not sure how she will handle Santa.

Before I get off of here tonight I want to leave you a picture of someone that came out of hiding tonight.  She will have her picture made at a different place each week and whoever guess the right place will get something in the mail.  It will be fun.  I PROMISE

Yay It's Almost Turkey Day

I am so excited for Thanksgiving!!  I love all the food and desserts.  We will have so much we will be eating on it for days.  That's ok with me though.  My mom is coming over to our house and we are going to make everything here.  I bought the pies because I didn't want to make them too.  Plus, I just have one oven rack.  Around the holidays its hard for me because I miss my brother, Charlie, and my dad.  Both my dad and Charlies' birthday's are in December.  I miss them so much.

 

I start up on pulmonary rehabilitation (again) next week.  When I was put into the hospital back September/October I had to stop and I just now got the paper work faxed over so that I could start again.   I think that it helps me alot with my breathing.

 

Taffy Apple, my furkid, has a birthday in December too. She will be 9 years old or 63 in dog years.  She still plays with the other two just like she is their age.  She's going to get some Greenies for her present and maybe they will help her breath.  I will also get them a doggie cake from the dog bakery that all three of them can share.

Sunday Social

This week instead of answering questions we are telling what we are Thankful for.

 

I am thankful for the gift of life!!!  Without my donor family making the decision to donate I would not be here.  I received a double lung transplant in April of 2004.

 

I am thankful for Chad.  He has been through so much with me.

 

I am thankful for my furkids. They give me so much happiness!!! Chad, Presley Grace and Taffy Apple
