1. What was your favorite Halloween costume as a kid?

I would have to say the year I went as a red crayon!  Sorry no pictures

2. If you could go back and dress up as something what would it be?

I would be a princess of some kind, one that wore pink!

3. Favorite costume as an adult?

I haven't dressed up much as an adult so I guess I would say a cowgirl.

4. Favorite Halloween Candy?

Sour Patch Kids or Milkdud's

 

5. Favorite Halloween Memory?

One of the lady's on the block would make every kid a special sack filled with candy and then she would also give us a caramel apple.

 

6. What’s your favorite scary movie?

I would have to say "I know what you did last summer." I was super jumpy(if that's a word) during that movie.

It's OK Thursday

 

 

 

Published October 25, 2012 | By Neely   It's OK Thursday   that I am doing it again on Friday instead of Thursday.  I had a Dr appointment yesterday.   that I got really angry that someone honked at me for going the speed limit, yes I was going the speed limit.   that I really miss my Dad and my brother Charlie very much.   that I really want a cure for cystic fibrosis.   that I would love to raise money to feed the children who don't know where there next meal is coming from.   that I would love to have a animal shelter where dogs and cats could run free and eat as much as they want.              

Todays Appointment

Well today's appointment went well.  I had an endoscopy of my stomach.  The dr was looking to see if I had blockage in my veins in my esophagus, stomach, and in my liver.  The dr that did the procedure said that there was nothing significant but there was some blockage that could be treated with drugs.  They also said that there was still food in my stomach which isn't good because I hadn't had anything to eat for 10 hours.  About a month ago I was put on a new drug to help with my stomach motility and I thought that it was working good.  I haven't been nauseous so I thought that the food was moving properly.  I guess we will wait and see what my dr says about that.  I previously took reglan (which is used to help with stomach motility) for 8 years and I was just feeling like it wasn't working that well anymore is why I switched drugs to begin with.  Other than that though it was a good day.  I'll keep you posted when I follow-up with my dr about what he wants to do.

Short and Sweet

Tonight is going to be a short blog because I'm tired.  I know I'm blogging late tonight but I've been out.  I went with my mom to buy herself some new shoes.  I love shoe shopping even if it's not for me.  I simply love shoes!!!

Did anyone watch the debate tonight? I DVR'd it so I could watch it with Chad.  I am so ready for this to be over already!!!  I'm am tired of seeing all of the bashing of each other on tv.  I am voting and NO I am not telling who I am voting for.  I don't like to debate personally, that is why I'm not sharing.

I know it's early but have any of you started shopping for Christmas yet? Or does everyone wait like I usually do until about a week before.  Hopefully this week I can get some of my done, through the internet of course.

I have a dr. appointment tomorrow morning so readers please pray things go well.  It's just a routine visit so I'll let you know more tomorrow.

I want to be remembered for always caring and loving everyone and everything. Especially LIFE!

I am so proud of myself for never giving up on life despite all of the adversities I have faced.

It's OK Thursday

OK I know you're probably thinking that it is Saturday not Thursday and you are right!!!!

It's OK...

That I just figured out how to link up to other bloggers for IT'S OK THURSDAY and that I am posting it on Saturday. (right?)

That I bought 2 diet lemonades today instead of just 1.  I was really thirsty!

That I want to take my fur kids to a costume party at the doggie bakery.

That I LOVE sweets so I just dial it into my insulin pump.

That I let my dogs bark when no one else is here but me.  Hey they like to bark so I say bark on!!!

That I love to buy a good, pretty planner for all of my dr appointments.  Dr appointments are no fun and sometimes very depressing so I want something pretty to keep them in.

That ice cold sweet (with splenda) tea is my morning coffee.

That I went a whole year without blogging.  It will never happen again.  Sorry followers!!
